There are many events in Canada that require the co-ordinate entry of dozens, or even hundreds, of foreigners into Canada. Examples include conferences, business projects, sporting events, film productions, etc. In such instances it is often imperative to the organization’s overall goal that every foreign national seeking to enter Canada be able to do so in an efficient manner.
We have extensive experience providing temporary entry services to individuals and companies that require the co-ordinated entry of many foreign nationals at once. In every representative matter the same question is asked. How can we make this process as smooth as possible so that everyone who needs to enter Canada can enter?
Examples
Some of our recent experiences co-ordinating the entry of many foreign workers include:
Mining
A mine in Western Canada discovered that it had a massive labour shortage that it could not fill in a timely manner, and production needed to start. They hired an American mining personnel placement agency to provide workers on a short-term basis. We submitted expedited bulk applications to ensure that all of the companies workers could enter in one trip.
Television Production
An Asian film production company wanted to film two episodes of a television season in Vancouver. Bulk applications were submitted to the International Workers Mobility Unit, which provided letters to the Canada Border Services Agency confirming that the workers did not need work permits to enter Canada.
International Race
We co-ordinated the entry of foreign workers to help staff a marathon in Toronto. Bulk applications were submitted to the International Workers Mobility Unit, which provided letters to the Canada Border Services Agency confirming that the entry of the event timers, for example, constituted a significant benefit to Canada.
Wildlife Management
In a fascinating project, we assisted a federal government department, a local conservation company and a British Columbia first nation to co-ordinate the entry of a dozen wildlife management personnel so that a massive wildlife conservation project could be started within a defined window.
Scope of Representation
We are flexible in how we structure the representation of employers in their immigration needs. We offer services on an hourly, flat-fee or portfolio basis, as determined by the employer.
